equipment, thoroughly trained operators, and controlled manufacturing
processes, our stringent quality checks guarantee you every aspect of
Summit Marine’s products and services will be leading edge quality.
From order entry, through shipping, our job is not complete until you are
pleased with our performance. With that in mind we are pleased to
present:
15-year Limited Warranty against defects and workmanship on
all aluminum frames and components, including welds.
5-year pro-rated Limited Warranty against defects and
workmanship on Canopy Covers (excluding fading).
1-year Limited Warranty against defects and workmanship on
components not manufactured by Summit Marine inc. supplied by other
manufacturers: a) hydraulic power units, b) winches, c) electrical power
unit gear boxes, switches, and controls, remote controls, key fobs, and
solar panels. 2-year Limited Warranty against defects and workmanship on
lifting cables.
10-year pro-rated Limited Warranty against defects and workmanship on
Flow Thru decking. Wood products, because of their nature, are excluded
from this Warranty.
This Limited Warranty applies from the date of purchase of the Summit
Marine inc. product, for the applicable Limited Warranty period listed
above and only under normal use and conditions and only to the original
purchaser. Modifications to Summit Marine inc. product or any of its
components, use in salt water without proper anti-corrosion components
and anodes, overloading, or other product abuse including, but not
limited to, mechanical installation or removal of said product, voids the
Limited Warranty. Damage caused by wind or other acts of nature
are also not covered by this warrantee. This Limited Warranty is in lieu
of all other warranties expressed or implied. There are no other expressed
or implied warranties.
This Limited Warranty provides for the repair or
replacement of the defective workmanship and/or materials by Summit
Marine inc., as determined by Summit Marine inc. in its sole discretion.
Summit Marine inc. is not liable for (and this Limited Warranty does not
extend to) any consequential or incidental damages such as time lost,
travel, or damage to purchasers property or others’ property.
Summit Marine inc. is not liable for damages or injuries of any kind
relating to or arising from installation, removal, misuse, overloading,
or negligence by others with regard to the product.
Any claim under this Limited Warranty requires the
following:
Contact Summit Marine inc. through your Summit Marine
inc. Dealer before the expiration of the applicable Limited Warranty
period with the following information: Model number of the product, date
and place of purchase, description of the damage or defect, and
circumstances pertaining thereto and (where applicable) photograph of the
damage or defect. A copy of the receipt, along with return instructions
must be provided with any product returned. Return, at the direction of
Summit Marine inc., the defective or damaged part to Summit Marine inc.
Summit Marine inc. is not responsible for dealer service calls or freight
costs to or from Summit Marine inc. Summit Marine inc., at its sole
option, will repair or replace any defective part covered by this Limited
Warranty within 30 days (if reasonably possible) after receipt of the
defective part in compliance with the above procedure and the terms of
the Limited Warranty.
